I first met Sophie and Nat at a fabulous wedding at Froyle Park, at which Nat was his brother’s best man. Little did I know that about a year later I would be photographing their Hurlingham Club Glamorous Music Themed Chelsea Wedding. And what a day it was.
Sophie and Nat broke the mould by turning their day completely back to front and keeping it as informal and relaxed as possible. They started with lazy lunch at Tom’s Kitchen in Chelsea with the core of their guests. They then headed over to Chelsea Town Hall for their beautiful wedding ceremony, which ended with funnels of confetti on the busy King’s road.
A short black cab ride later we arrived at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel where Sophie and her bridesmaids prepared for the afternoon and evening celebrations.
I still can’t believe how elegant Sophie looked in her Pronovias wedding dress. I just love the layers and the way it cascades at the back. And standing under the amazing ball chandelier at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel it was pure glamour.
Although it’s a bit unorthodox to get ready after your wedding ceremony it really suited Sophie and Nat and with his passion for music the Hurlingham Club was the perfect venue to celebrate their marriage.

Sophie and Nat had so many musical details to tie in their Hurlingham Club Glamorous Music Themed Chelsea Wedding. An old turntable and it’s logo that was dotted all around their details, on their confetti cones and on each of their wedding guest’s seating badges. They also had an incredible band that played music all throughout the afternoon with the groomsmen and in the evening too. And let’s not forget the incredible homemade music themed wedding cake that Nat’s mum made. It was just out of this world.
After hilarious speeches the band hit the stage again and the party went wild.
Seriously, if you want to get one thing right on the day of your wedding, then it’s definitely the music, especially when your mate is Ollie Thompson / Forrest (for the music fanatics out there – ex-lead guitar player for Bryan Ferry for about 10 years). Crazy cupcakes.
So if you’re thinking of having your very own Hurlingham Club Wedding, get in touch. It’s high up there as one of my favourite venues.
