A Romantic couple photoshoot in Eynsford
I’ve been shooting a lot of urban engagement shoots recently, but every now and then a request lands in my inbox for a rural romantic couple photoshoot to celebrate a couple’s love, rather than a particular special occasion or because they have just got engaged. This was one of these times, and when Joaquin contacted me to arrange this couple’s shoot as a surprise for his girlfriend Sarah, I felt very excited.
Both Sarah and Joaquin love the outdoors and Joaquin wanted to make it a big feature of their shoot. The tiny little village of Eynsford in Kent seemed the perfect place and we decided to meet one late summer afternoon and take a stroll together to the ruins of Eynsford castle, the River Darent and the hay bales on the field overlooking the Eynsford viaduct. Arriving at the station, I picked them up and we soon overcame Sarah’s initial nervousness. I’m sure the short nip to the pub for a sneaky pint and glass of wine helped too 🙂
Joaquin hails from far away Venezuela and is a keen cyclist, while Sarah is an NHS nurse and very much an English rose. How stunning does she look in her dress? I just love the way it brings out her green emerald eyes and golden hair and it was obvious that Joaquin noticed it too. 🙂
With the golden late afternoon sun shining on us, the summer warmth allowed us to have a wonderful relaxed afternoon together and Joaquin and Sarah took my advice and made a day and evening of it, staying in the area and enjoying a lovely dinner after our shoot. It was blissful, one of those rare summer days that seem to last forever. Towards the end of the shoot, the sky changed and a big front of clouds pulled in, which made the breathtaking views over the Kent countryside even more dramatic.
I just can’t resist the beauty of their romantic couple shoot and hope you like it too. I would love to hear your views, or if you would like to book your very own romantic couple photoshoot, get in touch and let’s do it!
Lovely shoot Maria…particularly love them walking off into the field of hay bales 🙂
Really lovely images Maria, xx
