Coworth Park Barn Summer Wedding Photography
Well that’s a bit of a mouthful! But…
Coworth Park in the summer is amazing and if you are looking for something a little different than the 17th century Mansion at Coworth Park, then how about the Barn?
You can get ready at the Barn’s Dower House, which is framed by weeping willows and one of Coworth Park’s lakes. It is connected to the modern chic Barn restaurant through a romantic little wooden gate and is only a short walk away from the Mansion itself, with its breathtaking views over the wildflower meadow.
From the signs and sculptures strewn all over the grounds to the delicate meadow wildflowers, Coworth Park is always full of surprises and exudes an air of elegance and luxury.
The Barn is eclectic, modern, edgy and luxurious in equal measure to the Mansion. It is down to earth and proudly showcases its heritage with riding accessories on a gorgeous feature wall and a huge glass wall on one side which floods it with beautiful summer light.
How’s that for something really different?
Both parts of Coworth Park are easily accessible, with ample parking at both, so your guests and you won’t spend your day walking from one to the other and instead have time to enjoy both equally.
Gorgeous grounds, flowers and wooden features make every bit of the grounds amazing for your Coworth Park Barn Summer Wedding Photography, and the novelty of being able to just jump onto a golf cart in order to go from the Mansion to the Barn is also pretty cool!
All of these things are true for Amelie and Andy’s wedding and their gorgeous Coworth Park barn summer wedding photography. But so much more as well!
Although at first glance it looks like a pretty traditional wedding, with top hats and a horse drawn carriage, this summer wedding was anything BUT traditional.
Amelie and her bridesmaids prepared in the Dower House and were only a stone’s throw away from the boys, who got ready in one of the many Stables’ bungalows. And while the girls had scrumptious breakfast and tea in the morning, the boys went to the spa and had a relaxing morning chilling. Now that’s what I call getting ready in style!
And seriously just check out those red bridesmaids dresses! All silk and 100% gorgeous. Each one a little different in cut and so suited to each bridesmaid. Yeah! And don’t even get me started on Amelie’s eye watering Pronovias wedding dress. What a stunner!
For the boys, only Mexican wrestling masks would do of course! Who’s happy with just a top hat anyway?! Haha
They had for a church wedding at St Michael and all Angels Church and after a very emotional wedding ceremony for everyone involved (queue the crying bride, groom, father of the bride, bride’s aunt and bride’s brother. YES, there were a lot of happy tears!) and tons of petal and bubble confetti, Andy’s parents surprised the newly married couple with a horse drawn carriage. So romantic!
Everyone else jumped into the big red double decker bus and made their way back to the beautiful grounds at Coworth Park.
Back to Coworth Park
And this is only where the fun began. Traditional German wedding games such as sawing through a log to show how well the newly married couple work as a team were just the start. Video presentations, games with shoes flung in the air and on-screen score keeping, and slideshows supported by two singing best men kept everyone entertained and made the day just fly by. And have you ever seen lit helium balloons float up into the air at night?
By the time I checked my watch, we were well into the dancing, singing, clapping, hugging and hand holding. What a truly fabulous day!
So how are you planning to make your Coworth Park Barn Summer Wedding Photography stand out? Where would you like to go and which features would you like to use?
