Welcome to the second part of this incredible luxury Marrakech destination wedding. If you haven’t yet seen the traditional Indian part of their adventurous two day celebration, you definitely won’t want to miss it. It has everything. From colourful couple shots in the Majorelle Gardens, Moroccan musicians, lots of Indian wedding traditions, and dreamy sunset portraits of the bride and groom, and a camel! How can you resist? Have your fill of those photos and then feast your eyes on the stunning white part of their luxury Marrakech destination wedding. It’s way up there with my favourite wedding days.

Dramatic shot of a Bride and groom at the base of the Ksar Char Bagh staircase

Aaysha and Immy’s white wedding took place at the deluxe Moroccan hotel and spa Ksar Char Bagh. This venue was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Palms, crystal clear pools, white marble and intricately carved stonework. And a staircase that gave me ALL the chills and thrills! (Check out the photos of Aaysha and Immy at the spiralling stonework).

Aaysha and Immy looked like film stars, no other way to say it. Watching her walk down the aisle with her proud father towards her groom was like something straight from Hollywood. Only better, because we were in Marrakech, one of my favourite places IN.THE.WORLD, witnessing an amazing luxury Marrakech destination wedding.

Their ceremony was super emotional, and it was just lovely to see. The couple’s family and friends buzzed with love for them. And let’s be honest, a crowd that isn’t afraid to let the tears flow is all sorts of awesome. After a few quick shots with the couple in the venue’s grounds we went to the speeches. Many laughs and tears later, the party headed outside as darkness fell, and stepped up to the next level. HE-LLO fire dancers and Croque en Bouche of dreams!

The moves on the dance floor were hot, and the night was even hotter.

A splashy end for a Luxury Marrakech Destination Wedding

When I saw that pool at the beginning of the day, and with 48C baking in the shade, the thought had crossed my mind that some people might end up there at the end of the night. But I couldn’t have guessed how many. With the action on the dance floor still going strong, it wasn’t long before many of the guests and… ahem… the photographer… ended up in the pool to cool off. A totally memorable end to a unique and wonderful day.

Thanks, Aaysha and Immy, for being so awesome, with a love for each other just leaps right off the page, and for having me along for the ride for your whirlwind luxury Marrakech destination wedding. What an adventure!

I adore exploring new places, as you can see from my photography bucket list, from Paris to Pristina, Morocco to Mauritius and beyond. So, if you’ve got the wedding wanderlust and would like to chat all things travel and photography, get in touch here and let’s have a chat.
