Just a week ago, I had the pleasure of taking these beautiful engagement photographs for Harmunn and Harmeet, a couple who’s Sikh wedding is now only days away.They contacted me about this pre-wedding shoot only a few days before, looking to have a few select shots to display beside their guest signing book. I have to admit that as a Kent wedding photographer, I was very excited to be capturing their love so close to their wedding day. The excitement about their upcoming wedding was almost palpable 🙂
We quickly discussed the kind of location that would suit their personalities and agreed to meet at the wild side of Knole Park in Sevenoaks, Kent a few days later.
Winter pre-wedding shoots are always interesting for me as a Kent wedding photographer, since there are often dramatic skies, chilly winds, and even on a bright sunny day, the winter light often has a cold blue hue to it. This day was no exception and after the initial shock from the cold and wind, we soon eased into the shoot and I got to experience and capture the fun, joy and anticipation Harmeet and Harmunn experience together and for their wedding (and with a Sikh wedding ceremony in a week’s time how could you not be!)
There will be hundreds of people attending their Sikh wedding ceremony, so I wanted to capture a set of engagement images for them that would preempt the joy of the day.
