The Bickley Manor Hotel

Emma and Perry booked me as their wedding photographer in Kent over a year before their wedding at the Bickley Manor Hotel. When their big day finally arrived, I joined Emma, her bridesmaids and their little flower girls as they were getting ready in her bridal suite. With its many original features from the late 19th century, dark wood wall panels and high ceilings, the Bickley Manor Hotel is full of character and was just perfect for Emma and Perry’s celebration. The atmosphere was buzzing and Emma looked absolutely radiant to be marrying Perry after many happy years together as a young couple. Of course Perry was excited too and their two children looked cute as buttons in their very important roles as ring bearer and flower girl.

One of my favourite moments was when both Emma’s and Perry’s mum walked into the Bickley Manor Hotel bridal suite and saw Emma all dressed up for the first time. The happiness on their faces spoke volumes.

After a very emotional ceremony Emma and Perry and their guests spilled into the beautiful and sunlit grounds and milled, chatted and laughed the afternoon in.

As a Wedding Photographer in Kent, I see many set reception rooms and I love they way Emma and Perry made this uniquely their own. They had taken great care with the table settings, incorporating their love of music and Perry’s past as a DJ, and I loved the little details that made their reception room look vibrant, fun and relaxed. The speeches were a blast and the ouzo shots that the lads from the stag do shared were not to be missed. Neither was the Greek Hotel Manager, who seemed to really enjoy and engulf himself in his role as host 😉

After another short interlude in the sun, with the kids running and jumping about the party atmosphere really ramped up. Emma and Perry’s first dance was just perfect, ending with each of them picking up one of their little munchkins and swaying happily to the music. But that was just the start of the dancing, full volume singing and party which went on into the wee hours of the morning.
