Vicki and Ryan’s relaxed Fison Barn wedding was a delight from start to finish. I loved how family focused their day was. They placed a huge amount of emphasis on the kids feeling included and entertained. Children at weddings can be a bit of a controversial topic, but this lovely couple made absolutely sure that their younger guests would have as great a time as the adults.
I love the morning at this wedding. Surrounded by her family and besties, Vicki was so relaxed and happy the whole time. I love how she made time to colour with her daughter and to have a bit of a giggle with her amid the flurries of hair and makeup.
Vicki and Ryan are obviously a couple who know each other inside out. Their gorgeous wedding day matched their laid back and fun-loving personalities to a tee. They served all their guests from a fish and chip van, and held their speeches outside. The overall feel at this relaxed Fison Barn wedding was of a good old family knees-up, and everyone was clearly having a fab time – myself included. Needless to say, the Irish influences on Ryan’s side of the family peaked through more and more as the day went on and the fun ramped up with every passing minute.
The beauty of a relaxed Fison Barn wedding
Fison Barn is part of Earth Trust – an environmental learning charity which aims to connect people with nature. There is no shortage of beautiful countryside on the doorstep of the venue. So, so we were super lucky to be able to use the pretty dramatic cloudscape for our photos. I am in love with all of these images! Vicki and Ryan and their families are so natural in front of the camera. And the romance between them was palpable.
After the speeches, which went down a storm out in the courtyard, the festivities moved indoors, where the couple and their friends and loved ones hit the dance floor. Hard! An epic wedding that ended with an even more epic party. Just fabulous.
